1. Terms and Conditions

Contracting New Pointe Editing services indicates that you have acknowledged and accepted our company’s terms and conditions as detailed on this page.

2. Confidentiality, Copyright, and Ownership of all edited and/or created materials

All submitted documents are received and returned electronically in a secure format. As such, clients must utilize a valid email address. All clients retain sole copyright, ownership, and control over all materials submitted to us, including any edited or created documents.

3. Content of edited and/or created materials

Plagiarism and breach of copyright are illegal. We DO NOT assume the liability of all submitted documents. Our client’s responsibility is to conduct the necessary research and provide/include recognition to the originating source. New Pointe Editing is NOT liable for any computer viruses distributed during services.

4. Responsibility

At New Pointe Editing, ALL services (editing, creating) are provided with a level of excellence. However, NO guarantee completed documents will be error-free, and as a result, we offer a re-edit at no additional cost. Please note that re-edits are done according to the originally requested services before initial editing services. New Pointe Editing is not held responsible or liable for loss of service during this process.

5. Corrections/Re-edits

Clients agree to submit all questions, concerns, and/or disputes regarding completed editorial and created services by email. Email must clearly outline all errors, and questions regarding the completed project, to ensure that New Pointe Editing can respond, correct, and resolve the matter in a professional and timely manner. Please note that re-edits will be completed according to the client's original document and initial instructions.

Please note that corrections and re-edits consist of any spelling, punctuation, grammar, editorial changes, and/or mistakes made by New Pointe Editing in the final edited work submitted to the client. Any additional re-editing, additions, and revisions made by the client once completed work has been delivered will accrue additional charges. If the client requests a significant number of adjustments or modifications, the client will be required to request new editorial services.

6. Refunds / Cancellation Policy

Clients agrees to and acknowledge our refund and cancellation policy, which clearly states that ALL editorial and consulting services performed at New Pointe Editing are performed at a high standard. All requested services are initiated once payment has been received and delivered within the time frame as detailed in the agreed-upon package to the originating email address. ALL cancellation of editorial services MUST be submitted in writing by email. ALL consultation scheduled appointments MUST be canceled within 24hrs before the meeting, unless due to an unforeseen circumstance.  

Once the cancellation request has been received, editing services will be discontinued. The client will be contacted within 24hrs and notified of the editing status. Note that New Pointe Editing will calculate editing services based on completed work and charge accordingly. At that point, a refund will be given, along with completed services. Please allow 3-5 business days for a refund and to appear at your financial institution. There will be NO refund on completed services.

All requested services must be placed electronically. Please note that we do not accept paper checks, money orders, or cash sent via postal services. However, successful payment for services will be acknowledged, and a receipt will be sent by email within 24 hours.

7. Consultation  

The level of editorial services provided will be based on the client’s needs. Under NO circumstances is it New Pointe Editing's intention to mislead or fraudulently portray the services provided. We offer professional consultation to our clients before selecting a package and placing an order. This is to determine the level of editorial services needed for their unique project. A consultation fee of $99 will be charged. This fee will be applied to the chosen package. If the cost is more than the services requested, there will be NOT a refund of the difference.

8. Modification of Terms and Conditions

ALL terms and conditions may be altered, amended, and/or revoked at any time, for any reason, and without notice.

ALL questions, concerns, and/or disputes can be submitted in writing to info@newpointeediting.com. Please include information about the services you requested or were provided. New Pointe Editing is an ONLINE company and conducts all transactions and communications electronically.

9. Denial of Services

New Pointe Editing reserve the right to deny service to anyone whose order request is in direct conflict with our religious beliefs. We also exercise our Fifth Amendment right.
